GLOBAL SPORTING EVENT - ASICS BEAT THE SUN
PROVIDING LOGISTICAL SUPPORT FOR SHOWCASE RUNNING EVENT
Once again on the longest day of the summer, 21st June 2016, Asics the global sports and running brand, brought its event, “Beat The Sun”, to the highest mountain range of Western Europe, in the Chamonix Mont Blanc valley.
Eight teams from around the globe took on the ultimate challenge of trying to beat the sun from sunrise to sunset, as well as each other, on a gruelling 150km loop around the Mont Blanc Massif range. The teams in this relay race come form Northern and Southern Europe, Africa, Asia Pacific and the Americas.
Haute Pursuit was once again chosen by the event organisers to provide logistical support for the event in the planning stages, during and after the event. Our main areas of support were to provide pre-event planning; airport transfers and in resort transportation for athletes; the organisation and journalists; brand signage in town on the course and in all venues; organising the gala dinner in partnership with Asics; logistical planning of the product test day for journalists, and any other areas of support demanded of us.
