Traverse of Les Courtes

On one perfectly cold and sunny January day, the mountain gods blessed our passage with perfect sticky white ice, firm neve and waist deep powder.

Tom Grant of Haute Pursuit teamed up with Jon Griffith and Ben O Connor Croft for a swift ascent of the uber classic Swiss route on the icy north face of Les Courtes. This was followed by non-stop face shots during a dream descent of the South Face Direct in 50cm of fresh. Not a bad day out, from first bin to apres at Elevation.
