Grand St Bernard
After a four day long storm deposited around a metre and a half of snow on the Swiss-Italian border, Tom Grant of Haute Pursuit and friends drove up to the snow line at 2000m just below the legendary Col du St Bernard. This historical col is where Hannibal's, and later Napoleon's invading armies crossed into Italy. It is also of course where the Monks at the hospice first bred St Bernard dogs. However, our team was more interested in locating and shredding high quality freeride terrain.
